Arduino Uno R4 Wi-fi
This is not needed right away, but we will be using it.
Arduino/Raspberry Pi wire kit
These are wires, resistors, capacitors, switches, a breadboard, and other bonuses all packed into one kit, these will be useful to buy in a pack like this rather than separately.
Raspberry Pi 5
This may seem expensive, but it is more than worth the price. The Raspberry Pi is a standalone mini-computer that is completely customizable, and one of the best coding environments a kid could have, we will be doing many projects with this.
The Arduino IDE
This is what is used to put code onto the Arduino, it is free. You should download this whether you have the board yet or not.
Raspberry Pi OS Imager
use this to put the operating system onto your Raspberry Pi, we will likely set up the Raspberry Pi in class, so have this downloaded.
Visual Studio Code
This is the IDE (coding environment) we will be using in class, make sure to have it downloaded before we start.
